5. Fly Geyser Reno
Take a look at the picture above and we bet you will think that either your own eyes are tricking you or maybe we are just fooling around with you. In fact this place is quite real and as crazy as it may sound, it truly exists. Out of the two geysers, one, the really active one, was created when a water well drill struck a geothermal source. The result of that collision is in front of you. Sadly, visitors are not allowed to this place for obvious reasons.
4. Moeraki Boulders New Zealand
Next on our list of strange natural landscapes we have the Moeraki Boulders of New Zealand. This place, as you can see from the attached image, is very hard to explain. These boulders that you see all lined and waiting (that’s what it looks like to be honest that they are waiting for something or someone) are there by themselves. No one can explain how they came to be here on the Koekohe beach on the Otago coast of New Zealand but they have been discussed in reports that date back to 1848.
3. Antelope Canyon Arizona USA
The next natural landscape that we will be talking about is the Antelope Canyon in USA. It is the most photographed canyon in the US and you can clearly see why. This canyon was formed primarily due to two natural causes: flash flooding and sub-aerial processes. It is that which causes the flowing lines pattern inside the canyon. Beautiful no doubt.
2. Rotorua New Zealand
We are going to dedicate a one line to this next place and that too with our noses all scrunched up. This place is famous for its boiling mud pool, for its thermal springs (due to geo thermal activity obviously) and best of all, for its lovely aroma of rotten eggs. Fancy a trip will you?
1. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park China
Last but not the least we come to the Zhangjiajie National forest park in China. This entire place is filled with rocky structures like the ones seen in the pictures above and looks like something taken out of Avatar. These are also known as the stone forests characteristic of the stone formations that you see. These forests are a natural phenomenon and therefore, this sight is categorized is one of the best for tourists.
