If you ask someone, anyone, what their favourite place to be is, the most probable answer would be a beach! It does not necessarily have to be just a beach but any place with lots of blue water and sparkling sand would make for an ideal vacation spot or even the most ideal honeymoon spot. Since the summer season is almost upon us and since most of the teenagers and adults will be making up their minds to visit some places serene for the spring and summer break, we thought the timing was appropriate to bring to you a list that focuses its attention on ten beaches in the world that look like paradise on earth itself. We are no ambassadors for these beaches but we do know what you want from your summer escape and believe us, these ten beaches will really take your mind off everything.
The first beach, which looks like paradise on earth, that caught our attention was the Seychelles. Let it be known that this beach is the most photographed beach in the entire world and for all the right reasons. The sand is not white but a very off shade of pink and when it glimmers against the sun, the turquoise waters look astoundingly beautiful. Not to mention the fact that if you are willing to go for a little reef exploration, the shallow waters will be ideal for even the beginners.
Maldives as to be the most selected destination for honeymoons and second honeymoons and third honeymoons because once you are in the habit of going to Maldives, you really cannot stop. You have the option to either spend your time in the luxurious resort that the beach has to offer or maybe you would like to swim with the fishes (not in the gangster sort of the way, obviously). T beach is made up of more than one thousand islands and with soft air surrounding its every outer edge, the place is breath of relief.
8. Bora Bora
The beach is like your own private lagoon. The isolation it offers with the quiet and peaceful atmosphere is just what you need. Not to mention, the huts on the island, which are like private little intimate hotels of your own, are smack in the middle of the water. The beach is rightfully called the romantic island and you can vouch for that too once you have visited it.
7. The Hamptons
The next beach on our list of the beaches that look like paradise on earth is The Hamptons. We are sure that all of you have heard about this one especially if you are into chick flicks and chick shows like Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. All the elite, of Manhattan especially, head that way. As far as Long Island is concerned, you won’t find more lavish beaches anywhere than on the Hamptons.
6. Lanikai Beach
We next come to one of those beaches that would be the only beach that would look good actually perfect on a post card. In other words, if you are looking for swaying palm trees, glistening sand and lush blue waters then Lanikai is the beach for you. The waters stay calm due to the coral reef that keeps a watchful eye over them this making the overall experience ever more serene.
Nantucket Island is known for some of the most beautiful beaches out of which Madaket and Children’s beaches are two of the most touted. So if it is a gorgeous sunset that you desire to watch, if you want to build castles in the sand or play beach ball or if you simply want to enjoy the calm waves then Nantucket is the place for you. Once you have witnessed a sunset with your own eyes, you will realize why we call it a paradise on earth.
4. Fraser Island
The next beautiful beach on our list is that on Fraser Island, the place that can boast to be the largest sand island in the world. It is situated on the coast of Queensland, a place which is known for its sunny disposition (pun totally intended). Fraser Island not only has the beach to offer to the tourists that visit, but also includes some of the oldest trees in its rain forest and unhindered natural paradise. So if you are looking for a luxurious resort or would rather spend your time backpacking, go to Nantucket.
3. St. Bart’s
On the other hand, if the Caribbean is more of your taste than you should prefer going to St. Bart’s. Beaches all over the world have fairly the same things to offer. The difference arises upon your preferences where some people like a more eco-friendly place and others would simply enjoy a touch of French Chic. If you are part of the later crowd, St. Bart’s would be your personal paradise on earth including but not limited to French Cuisine. You can choose from a variety of 20 beaches, no less.
The next beach on our list of beaches that are paradise on earth is Langkawi beach. The name actually means the land of one’s wishes. It is touted that in the old days, the place used to a safe home for pirates. So if you are looking for picturesque sparkling waters that you can see through, lush green forests that rhyme with the winds when they sway and a peaceful place with surprisingly fewer crowds, Langkawi is your final destination.
1. Kauna’oa Bay
Last but certainly not least, we come to the beaches in Hawaii. How can a list about paradise on earth be complete without mentioning Hawaii. Kauna’oa Bay is the shape of a crescent and has all the right things starting from white sand that shines with the sun leading to palm trees. The place offers you all kinds of activities too be it snorkeling or just baking in the beach sun. Although this beach is being mentioned right at the very end, but this certainly does not mean that the beach has any less to offer to the people that visit.
