8. Colors of Halloween
What are the colors that come to your mind when we talk about Halloween? Orange and black? But have you ever wondered what do these colors stand for? Among the other Halloween facts, we also googled up the history behind the associated colors. As we discussed in the tradition of masks that Halloween was referred to as the day where there were weak boundaries between the living and the dead. Black, basically mounts the remembrance of that myth, as a sign of death. Orange (browns, rusts and gold) are typically associated with the colors of autumn, winter and Harvesting season. Orange is also said to the color of strength, courage and endurance. Probably this has also something to do with standing fast among the dead.
