4. Paranormal Portraits
This is my personal favorite among all other halloween crafts ideas as it takes minimum amount of time and looks really dark and twisted! Bring out some old family photographs and display them on your walls with this unique spin. It’s easier if they are already framed, if not, you can mount them on wooden boards or hang them or frame them, whichever option is convenient to implement. If you want to do it from scratch, you can take black and white prints of family photos with a slight sepia effect. For added effects for these halloween crafts, you can brush the pictures with a sponge dipped in black craft paint. Mount it on a hard paper and cut out holes in places of eyes. Place red christmas lights in places of eye and hang the frame. Turn on the light at night to freak your guests out. I’m sure you would never look at your loved ones the same way again.
3. Window Silhouettes
Window silhouettes and shadows are the new trend in Halloween crafts because they take very less time, money and effort and look spectacular. Ditch your store bought figures and cut out desired shapes and designs from black hard papers or plain cardboard’s which you can paint black. Once you’re done, paste them on all your windows and let the lights at night do the magic. The cut-outs can be anything, ghosts, cats leaves, scary faces, hands, witches, words etc. And the best part about these Halloween crafts is that you can easily take them down and save for next year.
