Do you prefer ready made decorations?
Because there are a lot of people who prefer getting ready-made decorations but if you are like me, you wouldn’t like that. Personally, I feel that buying ready to use items takes all the fun out and it takes away chances for people to spend more quality time together. But again, different people have different preferences, but if you have a passion for making things from scratch, you are going to love this compilation.
10. Blood Hand Window Clings
These blood hand-print Halloween crafts can be used as pasties on windows, mirrors or on floor. But I assure you, they look creepy as hell and pass for the best DIY crafts.
You would need craft glue (lots of it), red food coloring, plastic wrap, a smooth wooden board to wrap plastic on and surgical gloves. If you do not use gloves, it will be messier but will give you more control. Dye the glue with desire shade of red, you would want it to be a shade lighter as the glue becomes darker and more translucent when it dries. Secure the plastic wrap on a board as perfectly as possible. Dip your hand in the glue and press your hand on the sheet to paste the glue on to it. Keep repeating the process till you get width of around one eighth of an inch. You can make blood splatters as well with spoon. Peel the hand prints from the sheet once they dry, and there you have it! You can paste these on windows, floors, mirrors randomly around the house to creep your guests out.
9. Ghostly Mirror
This one looks really creepy that you’d want to put it face down once the Halloween time is over. Next on our list of easy Halloween crafts, we have spooky mirror decorating tips. For this, you’d need an old framed mirror (can be bought from any thrift store), an old image from a book or of an ancestor, razor blade and black paint. Take the mirror out from the frame and scratch the grey surface on the backside. This would make the scratched surface see-throw rather than reflective, and when you’d paste any picture on it, it would give a blurry image on the mirror. Frame it back and hang it in your living room or at your entrance door for extra scare.
