The boy in the image is a 12 years old Brazilian boy named Diego Frazão Torquato. He could be seen playing violin at his beloved teacher’s funeral. The loss of someone as influential and inspiring as a good teacher is clearly evident in his sorrowful eyes. 3. A Moment before the Nagasaki Destruction
The Nagasaki is one of the biggest tragedies that will always be remembered for its depth of grief that it caused thousands of people in Japan and worldwide. It was the first atomic bomb attack of its kind to be used in a war. The United States of America bombed Nagasaki, the Japanese city, on the 9th August, 1945. The attack killed thousands of people. Not only did it kill those who were bombed, but it also led to deaths through burns and radiation sickness, later. The entire city was reduced to rubble; it lay dead for years. The photo above is one of the strongest images that the camera has caught in the history. It was clicked just 20 minutes after the attack. 2. The Lost Afghan Beauty
This is by far one of the most famous images that the world has celebrated. Shot by one of the well known journalist photographers, Steve McCurry, the image was originally taken for National Geographic documentary. The woman in the picture is Sharbat Gulla, a native Afghan woman, who would study in an informal refugee school at the time the image was shot. The 12 years old Sharbat Gulla made it to the cover page of the National Geographic magazine that year, in 1992. Her identity was later discovered in 2002. The picture has been nicknamed as ‘the First World’s Third World Mona Lisa’. With this said, there is no need to explain why this image appears on our list of ten most famous real life photos.

Astronaut Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon – and this truth is not only known to us on earth but also to the moon, as the moon itself is a proof of it. The feat was celebrated throughout the world as one major development for the mankind. Since, as we all know, there is no wind on the moon, the footprint in no way can ever be erased from the surface of the moon. This image will always remind the mankind of its strength and determination to accomplish a mission like that.
